PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center yoke type linear synchronization motor capable of suppressing bending of an outer yoke.SOLUTION: A linear motor 1 comprises: a center yoke 7 extending in a drive direction; a pair of outer yokes 9 extending in the drive direction while holding the center yoke 7 therebetween; a bottom yoke 11 supporting the center yoke 7 and the pair of the outer yokes 9 in a cantilever manner at one side in the drive direction; a plurality of magnets 13 fixed to an opposed surface 9a to the center yoke 7 of each outer yoke 9, and arranged in the drive direction so as to alternately reverse a magnetic pole direction by using an opposing direction of the opposed surface 9a as a magnetization direction; a plurality of coils 15 into which the center yoke 7 is inserted, and arranged in the drive direction; a nonmagnetic reinforcement member 17 located at a corner part made by the opposed surface 9a of each outer yoke 9 and the bottom yoke 11 and abutting on them; and a screw 19 fixing the reinforcement member 17 to the outer yoke 9 or a screw 21 fixing the reinforcement member 17 to the bottom yoke 11. |
