PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensing photoelectric conversion device capable of suppressing a reduction in power extracted from a photoelectric conversion element.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element includes: a first photoelectric converter 2 having a p-type silicon substrate 4 and an n-type semiconductor layer which is formed on the p-type silicon substrate 4, is made of a material having a conduction band energy level different from that of silicon by 0.1 to 0.35 eV inclusive, and is thinner than the p-type silicon substrate 4; and a second photoelectric converter 3 which is laminated on the first photoelectric converter 2 and has a photoelectric conversion region having a larger band gap than silicon. |
