PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminophosphate zeolite with a low specific surface area and with high crystallinity.SOLUTION: A zeolite is disclosed, of which the XRD peak intensity ratio of a (100) plane of the zeolite with respect to an XRD peak intensity of a (220) plane of a silicon powder standard sample (640c, produced by NIST) is 0.8 or more, and of which the BET specific surface area is 300 m/g or less, the zeolite containing at least a phosphorus atom and an aluminum atom in the skeleton structure, and having a CHA structure in the zeolite structure defined by International Zeolite Association (IZA). |
