PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a system in which an image created by an image forming apparatus is transmitted to another apparatus via a network and the image is output, a technology to preview the output image, in which a simulation image close to an actual output result is presented to a client even when a printer to be used for the output cannot be specified in advance.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a print condition setting unit 401 that sets print conditions; an image content receiving unit 402 that receives an image content to be output; an output history information acquisition unit 404 that acquires past output history information of a plurality of printers; and an output printer prediction unit 403 that predicts a printer to be used for output on the basis of the print conditions, details of the image content, and output history information. |
