PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shield film in which a layer for shielding electromagnetic waves is not required to be connected with the ground circuit of a flexible printed wiring board, and which can be manufactured efficiently and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic shield film includes an insulation resin layer 21 including insulation particles and is formed on a release film 20 and having a protrusion derived from insulation particles on the surface on the reverse side of the release film 20, a shield layer 27 composed of a conductive material and formed on the insulation resin layer 21 by depositing a metal physically, and an adhesive layer 30 formed on the shield layer 27.
