PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a reinforcement member for reinforcing the housing of a display device for other purposes.SOLUTION: A display body displays an image and the reinforcement member is fixed to the back surface of the surface displaying the image of the display body, to reinforce the display body. A rear cover covers the back surface of the display body, in such a state that the reinforcement member is exposed. Further, the reinforcement member can be fixed to the back surface of the display body through a connection member connected to the back surface of the display body. The invention can be applied to a display device displaying the image, such as a liquid crystal display, a plasma display, or the like, for instance. |
