PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator capable of shortening the time required for a series of shift operations.SOLUTION: An electric actuator includes: an electric motor for generating rotational drive force; a shift conversion mechanism for converting the rotational drive force generated by the electric motor into a force for moving an operation shaft and transmitting the converted force to a shift select shaft with which a shift lever is coupled; and a shift electromagnetic clutch capable of intermittently transmitting the rotational drive force generated by the electric motor, from the electric motor to the shift conversion mechanism. A control part in the electric actuator, during execution of shift operation in a connection state of the shift electromagnetic clutch, predicts whether or not succeeding shift operation is to be executed successively after end of the shift operation (step S16), and when execution of the succeeding shift operation is predicted (YES in a step S17), continues the connection state of the shift electromagnetic clutch (step S19). |
