PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strut mounting base allowing fixing of a strut for stretching a main rope to a rail, and allowing installation of the other end of a safe belt (a lifeline) to a high position.SOLUTION: A strut mounting base 1 is mounted to a rail 2 of railroad in time of track maintenance work, is fixed with a base part of a strut 4 used for stretching a main rope, and has a base body 11 which is longer than a width of a bottom part 21 of the rail 2 and installed so that both end parts of the upper face thereof project from both sides of the bottom part 21 of the rail 2, on the bottom face side of the bottom part 21 of the rail 2. One end side of the upper face of the base body 11 is formed with a strut fixing part 11a fixed with the base part of the strut 4, one end side pressing part 11b into which one end side of the bottom part 21 of the rail 2 is inserted is fixed on the inner side (the upper and left side in Figure) of the strut fixing part 11a, the one end side pressing part 11b pressing the one end side of the bottom part 21 of the rail 2 between the one end side pressing part 11b and the upper face of the base body 11, while the other end side thereof is formed with the other end side pressing part 11e pressing the other end side of the bottom part 21 of the rail 2 between the other end side pressing part 11e and the upper face of the base body 11. |
