PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively generate overexposure in an image acquired by imaging an observation part with each of a plurality of imaging devices so as to acquire various pieces of information concerning the observation part of a biological tissue or the like.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional endoscope system includes: illumination means for irradiating an observation part with illumination light; an endoscope having an objective optical system including a plurality of imaging devices that receive the reflected light from the observation part; image analyzing means for analyzing the image acquired by the objective optical system; and light quantity distribution control means for controlling the light quantity distribution of the illumination light on the basis of the image analysis result.
