PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To terminate recovery printing earlier.SOLUTION: A controller 221 transmits color information group CL to a CPU 211 together with a print job. When the print job is interrupted, the CPU 211 performs recovery printing in response to a recovery print instruction. The CPU 211 refers to the color information group CL to determine color information of a page on which an image is to be formed first in the recovery printing, and controls drive of a motor M2 for moving an intermediate transfer belt so as to position the intermediate transfer belt 32 in a position according to the color information. The drive control on the motor M2 for moving the intermediate transfer belt is started before receiving the recovery print instruction. |
