PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for managing storage systems including remote copy systems and enhancing manageability of the systems by automating complicated operations.SOLUTION: A computer comprises a memory and a controller. The controller is configured to: manage a virtual volume to be provided for a server; manage a plurality of logical volumes to be provided from a plurality of storage systems; manage a condition required of the virtual volume which is related to a location for storing data sent to the virtual volume; manage location information of each of the plurality of logical volumes which is defined on the basis of a location of the logical volume; and perform control for mapping the virtual volume to one of the plurality of logical volumes on the basis of the condition required of the virtual volume and the location information of the plurality of logical volumes. |
