PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery which is excellent in discharge capacity at a low temperature and cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery contains a nonaqueous solvent, an electrolyte, and 0.1 to 6 mass% of ethylene glycol sulfate expressed by the following general formula (1), and 0.001 to 7 mass% of chain ether having tertiary carbon. |
