PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which inconveniences are less likely to be caused by a leaking liquid, and to provide a hoist.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1A includes: a rotary part 4; a stator 3: and a case 2. The rotary part 4 includes a rotor 4a and may rotate. The stator 3 is positioned at the outer peripheral side of the rotor 4a. A penetration part 22a, through which the rotary part 4 penetrates, is provided at the case 2. On an outer side surface of the case 2, a receiving part 32 having an opening at the rotary part 4 side is provided at the outer peripheral side of the rotary part 4 which penetrates through the penetration part 22g. |
