PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material capable of hermetically sealing a heat insulating member with high air-tightness by means of a pair of films.SOLUTION: A heat insulating member 6 is arranged between a first film 2 and a second film 4, peripheral parts 2a, 4a of the first film 2 and the second film 4 respectively are joined to each other, and the heat insulating member 6 is evacuated and sealed to produce a vacuum heat insulating material. As the first film 2 and the second film 4, a film having a metal foil 8 on an inner surface side is used and a part of a peripheral part 8a of the metal foil 8 is used as a joint surface 18. A welding resin part 16 is arranged on a part adjacent to the joint surface 18 of the metal foil 8 of the first film 2 and the second film 4, the welding resin part 16 is thermally welded and, thereby, the first film 2 and the second film 4 are temporarily joined. Subsequently, the joint surfaces 18 of the metal foil 8 of the first film 2 and the second film 4 are subjected to metal-joining to each other, and the first film 2 and the second film 4 are subjected to final joining. |
