PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire and a coil using the same which have excellent partial discharge resistance and excellent workability at high temperatures.SOLUTION: An insulated wire consists of a conductor and a polyimide which has a repeating unit represented by a formula (1) given and a repeating unit represented by a formula (2) given. A first acid component in the repeating unit represented by the formula (1) and a second acid component in the repeating unit represented by the formula (2) are, when expressed in mole ratio (first acid component:second acid component), composed in a range of mole ratio of 85:15 to 40:60, R, which is a residue of the diamine component in the formula (1) and the formula (2), consists of a residue of 4,4'-diamino diphenyl ether and a residue of diamine selected from a group of diamine represented by formulae (3) to (8) given, and the constitution is adjusted so that a storage elastic modulus of the polyimide at 325°C is 50 MPa or more. |
