PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing &pgr;-conjugated polymer product material that can produce &pgr;-conjugated polymer product material by polymerizing a polymerizable compound capable of forming &pgr;-conjugated polymer by polymerization in a hydrophobic solvent.SOLUTION: In a method for producing &pgr;-conjugated polymer product material according to the present invention, &pgr;-conjugated polymer product material is obtained by using a polymerizable compound capable of forming &pgr;-conjugated polymer by polymerization, organic peroxide of the following formula (1) or formula (2), and a hydrophobic solvent and polymerizing the polymerizable compound in the hydrophobic solvent. R1, R2, R3 and R4 in the formula (1) and the formula (2) represents a hydrocarbon group, respectively. |
