PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stably discharging a recording medium and improving load capacity.SOLUTION: A body casing comprises: a discharge port 30 configured to discharge a sheet P having an image formed thereon by an image forming part; a discharge tray 32 configured to load the sheet P discharged therefrom; and a contact member 44 configured to contact with each of both end parts in the left-right direction of the sheet P when the sheet P is discharged from the discharge port 30.
