PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor which detects an overcurrent, specially an induced lightning surge flowing through an electric circuit of an object to be monitored, and which converts the detected one into an electric signal of ON/OFF for outputting.SOLUTION: In the inside of a case, a current sensor includes: a current transformer which converts an overcurrent and an abnormal current flowing through a circuit to be monitored into a small current; and a surge conversion circuit which converts the small current into an electric signal composed of ON/OFF for outputting. Moreover, the surge conversion circuit comprises a Zener diode, a rectifier diode, a capacitor, a variable resistor, and a photocoupler. |
