The present invention relates to a mixed oil preventing system and a mixed oil preventing method thereof and, more specifically, to a mixed oil preventing system and a mixed oil preventing method thereof for preventing a mixed oil accident by notifying the type of oil which a vehicle uses to a fueling person or operating only an oil supply nozzle which corresponds to the oil type of the vehicle by recognizing the license plate number or model name of the vehicle. The present invention prevents a mixed oil accident because a user is able to conveniently confirm an oil type and fuel the oil which a vehicle uses by recognizing the license plate number or model name of the vehicle which enters a gas station through a camera, an image extracting unit, and a text recognizing unit by including: the camera which photographs the license plate number or model name of the vehicle which enters the gas station; the image extracting unit which extracts the license plate number image or model name image of the vehicle which is photographed through the camera; the text recognizing unit which recognizes text information which includes letter information and number information from the image which is extracted by the image extracting unit; and an information terminal which receives the text information which is recognized by being connected with the text recognizing unit in a wired or wireless way, searches oil type information which the corresponding vehicle uses according to the text information which is recognized by being connected to an oil type information database, and displays the searched oil type information on a screen. The present invention is also able to prevent a mixed oil accident secondarily by controlling an information terminal in order to operate the oil supply nozzle of an oil feeder which corresponds to the searched oil type. Moreover, the present invention is economical because a component replacement of a vehicle is not necessary and reduces fueling time because processes for recognizing the vehicle and controlling the oil supply nozzle are performed automatically.
