The present invention relates to an air damper, and more particularly, to a steel tube type air tamper that has a grease storing chamber formed at the inside of a piston adjusting air flow in a tube, so that grease stored in the grease storing chamber naturally flows to the outside by means of the vibration and movement of the piston to reduce the friction the piston and an o-ring against the inner peripheral surface of the tube, thus improving the durability and damping capability thereof. According to the present invention, the tube is made of a carbon steel tube for mechanical structural purposes and has an upper outer periphery reduced in diameter in such a manner as to be press-fitted to a bush, thus improving the durability of the tube, achieving the rigid coupling between the bush and the tube, without any separate coupling means, and further making it convenient in manufacturing thereof. |
