摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reversely move an industrial tool to a non-contact position even when receiving an emergency earthquake prompt report, and to stop a machine shaft, an industrial tool and a workpiece at a position where they are not damaged when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: An operation stop control device 2 of a machine tool 1 includes: earthquake prompt report receiving means 35 for receiving an emergency earthquake prompt report; machine shaft storage means 33 for storing a position and a speed of a machine shaft at the time of workpiece machining; and determination means 38 for determining whether a workpiece is being machined, a workpiece is being replaced or a tool is being replaced when receiving an emergency earthquake prompt report. When it is determined that the workpiece is being machined, by the latest position and speed data of the machine shaft stored in the machine shaft storage means 33 by machine shaft retreating means 46, the machine shaft is reversely moved along a machined path, the tool and the workpiece are returned to a non-machining position of the workpiece to stop. When it is determined that the workpiece is being replaced, the machine shaft is stopped after the completion of workpiece replacement. When it is determined that the tool is being replaced, the machine shaft is stopped after the completion of the tool replacement.
