PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of preventing reduction in a strength of fixing a capacitor element and a multilayer substrate via a fuse.SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor 1A comprises: a multilayer substrate 2A including top face electrodes 5a, 6a on the top face thereof and bottom face electrodes 5c, 6c on the bottom face thereof; a capacitor element 3 placed on the top face of the multilayer substrate 2A and electrically connected to the top face electrodes 5a, 6a; and an exterior resin 4 provided at a top face side of the multilayer substrate 2A so as to cover the capacitor element 3. The multilayer substrate 2A further includes one or more inner layer electrodes 5b, 6b electrically connected to the top face electrodes 5a, 6a and the bottom face electrodes 5c, 6c between the top face electrodes 5a, 6a and the bottom face electrodes 5c, 6c. A fuse 8 which is fused and cut when an overcurrent flows, is connected to at least one inner layer electrode 6b between the one or more inner layer electrodes 5b, 6b, and by cutting the fuse 8, electric connection between the top face electrode 6a and the bottom face electrode 6c is cut off. |
