PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device that can suppress sparing use of equipment due to an economical reason to keep standard of living even when a time zone of high electric power unit price is set and further contribute to power saving, and to provide a power supply system using the same.SOLUTION: A power control device 12 has a unit price storage unit 122 for storing unit price information concerning time variation of the unit price of commercial power, an equipment register 123 for registering equipment 13 used in a high unit price time zone in which the unit price of the commercial power is relatively high, a power consumption storage unit 124 for storing each power consumption information of the equipment 13, and a power supply controller 121 for controlling charge/discharge of a storage battery 16 to control storage power to be supplied to the equipment 13. The power supply controller 121 charges the storage power till a storage power target value based on each power consumption information of the registered equipment 13 before the high unit price time zone, and discharges the storage battery 16 in the high unit price time zone to supply the storage power to the registered equipment 13. |
