PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a document containing confidential information or the like from being taken out.SOLUTION: A document management system includes: a multifunctional device 130 which has printing means 134 for printing conference material, and conference material collecting means 135 for scanning and collecting the conference material; a document server 230 in which the conference material is recorded; a user authentication server 220 which authenticates a user of the multifunctional device; gates 111 to 113 for performing switching between a state in which the user is allowed to enter and leave areas and a state in which the user is not allowed to enter and leave areas; and an entering and leaving management server 210 which controls each of the gates, so as to control switching between the state in which the user authenticated is allowed to enter and leave areas and the state in which the user is not allowed to enter and leave areas, all of which are connected via networks 160 to 165. When the conference material is printed by the printing means 134, the entering and leaving management server 210 controls each of the gates 111 to 113, so as to enable a state in which the user is not allowed to leave a predetermined area. When the conference material is collected by the conference material collecting means 135, the state in which the user is not allowed to leave the predetermined area is canceled. |
