PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for folding a paper sheet in three, which enables a paper sheet to be accurately folded in three without requiring time, effort, or skill.SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool for folding a paper sheet in three includes a thin plate 2A having a short side length equal to one third of the long side length of a paper sheet and is used for folding the paper sheet of a prescribed standard in three. The auxiliary tool for folding a paper sheet in three further includes an open-and-close sheet 3a which is extended from one long side edge of the plate 2A so as to be openable and closable between a closed state near the plate 2A and an opened state. The short side of the paper sheet is inserted into a clearance formed by an internal angle formed by the open-and-close sheet 3a and the plate 2A, and is brought into contact with the joint part of the internal angle so as to be stopped in a state such that the short side edge of the paper sheet is superposed on the long side edge of the plate 2A. At this stop position, the inserted part of the paper sheet is sandwiched in the clearance, and the part of the paper sheet projected to the lateral side of the plate 2A is folded twice along the long side edge so as to be wrapped around the plate 2A. Thereby, the paper sheet is folded into a size equal to one third of the long side length. |
