PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine in which temperature rise in a carburetor caused by residual heat in engine stop by improving a shape and a mounting method of an insulator.SOLUTION: In an engine, an insulator 13 where an intake passage is formed is mounted to an intake 16 of a cylinder 2 by a screw material 25, and a carburetor is mounted in another end of the insulator. A mounting surface 2b is formed around the intake, and a plurality of screw boss parts 31 where a female screw part 31a threaded with the screw material is formed are formed so as to protrude from the mounting surface towards the carburetor. In the insulator, a flange part 13a is formed in contact with the mounting surface, and in the flange part, a penetration part is formed which penetrates the screw boss parts. The mounting surface is configured to be positioned closer to the center side of the cylinder than a seating surface of the screw boss parts, and on an extension of the seating surface of the screw boss parts towards the insulator, a gap 36 is formed between the seating surface and a cylindrical part 13b forming the intake passage of the insulator. |
