The present invention relates to a high capacity electrode assembly and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same and, more specifically, to an electrode assembly which a stack-folding type electrode assembly manufactured by being successively rolled in a state in which multiple unit cells are arranged on a long separation layer sheet and is replaced by a board (heat radiation member) performing heat radiation function and buffer function by at least one unit cell, and to a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The present invention is able to provide the electrode assembly having an effect such as a structure, wherein separated multiple electrode assembly are laminated and arranged with single folding, by replacing at least one among multiple unit cells folded in the stack-folding type electrode with the heat radiation member. Accordingly, the present invention is able to replace existing multiple electrode assemblies connected in parallel by a single electrode assembly and is able to reduce module costs and battery management system (BMS) costs required in a battery pack manufacture for an electric vehicle. |
