PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing device capable of superimposing an electronic view finder image on an optical finder image for simultaneous viewing and allowing a superimposed electronic view finder image to be viewed clearly without being buried in an object image in the optical finder even in bright outdoor light.SOLUTION: When object luminance acquired by photometric means is lower than a predefined object luminance level, luminance of an electronic view finder is increased as the object luminance increases and light reduction means is made fully transmissive. When object luminance acquired by photometric means is no less than the predefined object luminance level, luminance of the electronic view finder is kept at a predefined luminance level and transmittance of the light reduction means is reduced as the object luminance increases. |
