PURPOSE: An air foil bearing, which supports the load of a rotor using same force which is produced by the relative motion between a top foil and a rotor, is provided to reduce abrasion by making an assembly slot for fixing a foil to be acute angle. CONSTITUTION: An air foil bearing comprises a bearing housing(210), a foil(220), an assembly slot(230) and an assembly key(240). A rotator(100) is inserted inside the bearing housing. The foil is inserted between the inner surface and rotator of the bearing housing. The slot in which the end tip of foil is inserted is formed on the assembly slot. The assembly key is inserted inside the assembly slot. The assembly key is integrated with one end of the foil. The foil comprises a top foil(221) and a bump foil(222). |
