PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement image display system, an advertisement image display method, an image distribution server, an image display device and a program, capable of displaying an image in a form of a matrix according to intention of an information provider side.SOLUTION: When a system, in which an image distribution server 20 for distributing an image and an image display device 10 displaying an image are connected so as to transmit and receive data therebetween, displays an image, the image display device 10 requests image data from the image distribution server 20, the image distribution server 20 obtains image data including an advertisement image from image data storage means which stores an advertisement image being image data for advertisement and a normal image being image data except for an advertisement image according to the request from the image display device 10 and transmits the obtained image data to the image display device 10, and then the image display device 10 displays the image data received from the image distribution server 20 while preferentially arranging the advertisement image at a predetermined position.
