PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable capacitive load drive circuit capable of preventing an overcurrent from flowing into a bootstrap diode and a low-side switching element.SOLUTION: A capacitive load drive circuit includes: a drive waveform signal generation circuit 210 for generating a drive waveform signal 402 used as a reference of a drive signal 408; a modulation circuit 222 for pulse-modulating the drive waveform signal and generating a modulation signal 404; two switching elements (transistors M1 and M2) that compose a push-pull circuit and generate a power-amplified modulation signal 406; a low-side driver 228L and a high-side driver 228H for switching ON/OFF of each switching element; a bootstrap circuit; an electric power supply VG for supplying a predetermined electric potential to the low-side driver and the high-side driver; a first resistor R1 disposed on a supply passage from the electric power supply to the bootstrap circuit; and a smoothing filter 226 for smoothing the power-amplified modulation signal and generating the drive signal.
