PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination reservation device and an examination reservation method capable of receiving an examination reservation without causing a lack of power supply which is used for an examination order when examination reservation of the examination order of a patient requiring no emergency is made in a situation where stable power cannot be obtained.SOLUTION: An examination reservation device 200 according to the present embodiment includes: an examination order acquisition part 210 for acquiring a non-emergency examination order; a consumption power calculation part 220 for calculating a predicted consumption power when the acquired non-emergency examination order is processed; a power information storage part 270 for storing information of a usable power which can be supplied when a prescribe limit is imposed; an examination reservation determination part 230 for determining whether the non-emergency examination order corresponding to the power consumption is received by comparing the calculated power consumption and the power shown by the information of the usable power; and a notification part 240 for notifying a hospital information system of the determination when it is determined that the non-emergency examination order is not received based on the determination result.
