PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internally illuminated type sign body, the visibility of which is improved by irradiating the inside of an erected column body with light from a light emitter, and the durability of which is improved by suppressing damages of apparatuses such as the light emitter.SOLUTION: An internally illuminated type sign body includes a base part, an erected flexible column body, and a light emission unit for irradiating the inside of the column body with light. A solar cell, a power storage part for accumulating power from the solar cell, and a light emitter 52 for emitting light by the power from the power storage part are incorporated in the light emission unit. The sign body is provided with a light-emitting part 32 for emitting light from the light emitter 52 to the inside of the column body, and the light emission unit is mounted on the base part. The solar cell, the power storage part, and the light emitter which are electrically connected are incorporated in the light emission unit. Therefore, when an external force is applied to the installed internally illuminated type sign body, for example, due to contact with a vehicle, deformation and positional variation of the solar cell, the power storage part, the light emitter, and the like incorporated in the light emission unit are suppressed, thus hardly causing breakage, disconnection, and the like, and improving durability. |
