PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device capable of achieving both an improvement in visibility of a liquid crystal display section and a reduction in power consumption.SOLUTION: A remote control device which can be installed on a wall face of a toilet room and operate a sanitary washing device by a radio signal comprises: a liquid crystal display section provided on a front surface of the remote control device; an external transmission window which is provided on an upper surface of the remote control device and allows external light to transmit therethrough; a light guiding passage which is installed inside the remote control device and guides the external light transmitting the external transmission window to the liquid crystal display device; an operation switch; and an infrared-emitting element which is arranged in the light guiding passage and can send an operation signal based on the operation switch to the sanitary washing device through the external transmission window. |
