The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device comprising an upper substrate, a lower substrate, and a liquid crystal layer inserted between the substrates. The liquid crystal display device comprises: an upper conductive electrode formed along the edge of the upper substrate; a lower conductive electrode formed along the edge of the lower substrate; an inner sealant which is placed at inner side than the upper and the lower electrodes and combines the upper and the lower substrates; and an external conductive sealant which electrically connects the upper and the lower electrodes by being applied to the outside of the inner sealant. The present invention provides the liquid crystal display device having an electrostatic prevention function in order to protect the liquid crystal display device from external electrostatic by connecting one electrode of the upper electrode and the lower electrode to the ground.
