The present invention provides a connection structure of a concrete-filled steel pipe column and a method for constructing the same. The concrete-filled steel pipe column includes an outer steel pipe including a hollow unit filled with concrete inside; an inner steel material vertically arranged in the outer steel pipe; and a connection steel pipe which is included on both ends of the inside of the outer steel pipe and in which a plurality of vertical plates, which is vertically attached to the outer circumference and connected to the outer steel pipe, is formed. The end of the inner steel material is fixed to the end of the outer steel pipe by being inserted into the inner circumference of the connection steel pipe.
