A PULLY-HUB ASSEMBLY FOR COMPRESSOR

The present disclosure relates to a pulley-hub assembly. The pulley-assembly includes a pulley which is rotated by power transmitted from an engine, a hub assembly which transmits rotational power of the pulley to drive shaft of a compressor. The hub assembly further includes at least one fixed joining part fixedly installed along the circumferential direction of the drive shaft on a side of the pulley, a hollow connection member where the pulley and fixed joining part are tightly joined to, a hub which is arranged in the hollow connection member and fastened to the drive shaft of a compressor, a hub plate which is fixedly installed on the front surface of the hub and has protruded joining portions protruded toward the connection member on the edge of hub plate, and a movable connection pin which simultaneously penetrates the hub plate and the connection member and is connected to the fixed joining part being supported by one end so that power transmission between the pulley and the drive shaft is engaged or disengaged when the pin is deformed. Therefore, it is not necessary to prepare a limiter for the fracture since the deformable pin eliminates cause of damaging or hitting other devices with fragments flying at the time of pin fracture. Furthermore, the hub assembly is reused repeatedly so that cost for replacing corresponding part is reduced.
