PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker which can be turned on and off using a remotely operated mechanism, separately from a manually operated circuit breaker mechanism.SOLUTION: Opening and closing of a movable contact arm 120 for opening and closing a circuit is controlled by a switch lever 175 independently of a circuit breaker mechanism for circuit protection. The switch lever 175 is activated by a solenoid 180 or other suitable means. Further, a plurality of interlocking mechanisms exist between components to provide safety features. |
