PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control method and a shift control device for an electric automobile that can securely couple and release a coupling element.SOLUTION: A shift control method for an electric automobile includes a signal and the like acquisition process (S1), a determination process (S2), and a gear change process (S3). In the signal and the like acquisition process (S1), an operation signal of a gear change operation part, a temperature of lubricating oil detected by an oil temperature detection part, a throttle opening detected by a throttle detection part, a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detection part, and acceleration or deceleration detected by an acceleration/deceleration detection part, are acquired. In the determination process (S2), various signals etc., acquired in the signal and the like acquisition process (S1) are determined by determined determination algorithm. In the gear change process (S3), gear change of a speed change gear is made based upon a determination result obtained in the determination process (S2). |
