PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which is capable of detecting tampering of data by utilizing parity data.SOLUTION: The information processor includes reproducing means, parity error detection means, and tampering determination means. The reproducing means reads and reproduces n recorded data files and a parity data file from corresponding areas of n information storage media and one information storage medium. The parity error detection means detects a parity error from the parity data file and the n recorded data files. The tampering determination means determines data of at least one of the recorded data files and the parity data file to have been tampered if neither the n recorded data files nor the parity data file does not have an unreproducible error and a parity error is detected from the parity data file and the n recorded data files.
