PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary cylinder type clutch device capable of reducing a manufacturing cost while properly exhibiting a function for reducing a shock upon clutch engagement.SOLUTION: A stationary cylinder type clutch device C includes: a plurality of clutch plates 1a, 1b; a clutch piston 7 for applying a thrust for engagement to the plurality of clutch plates 1a, 1b; and a thrust bearing 6 arranged between the clutch piston 7 and the plurality of clutch plates 1a, 1b. The thrust bearing 6 has a cone shape part 6a' where an area nearer to an outer periphery of a thrust race 6a is formed in a cone shape having a spring property. When the thrust bearing 6 is held between the clutch piston 7 and the plurality of clutch plates 1a, 1b under pressure, the cone shape part 6a' can be elastically deformed. |
