PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a novel process in a technique relating to an ink jet for allowing a liquid droplet having impacted on an object to exhibit a target function without deteriorating the fluidity or discharge of an in-nozzle supply liquid and without depending upon an object and any necessity for performing a preliminary treatment upon the object.SOLUTION: A chemical process using an ink jet method comprises: a discharge step of discharging a first liquid droplet containing a first liquid from a nozzle by an ink jet method; a liquid film passing step of passing the first liquid droplet discharged from the nozzle, through a liquid film containing a second liquid, to change the first liquid droplet into a second liquid droplet containing the first liquid and the second liquid; and a modification step of modifying the second liquid droplet with respect to the first liquid and the second liquid at the liquid film passing time or at the flight time of the second liquid droplet after having passed through the liquid film. |
