The present invention relates to a method and system for online learning using bidirectional online video communication, comprising the followings steps in which a student terminal: transmits a learning image (or writing data) which is a result product of learning-related behavior of a corresponding student to a teacher terminal; and replays an image (or writing data) in which a writing content image (or writing data) of a teacher and the learning image (or writing data) of the corresponding student who receives the image from the teacher terminal are combined. The teacher terminal includes the following steps of: replaying the transmitted learning image (or writing data) of the corresponding student; marking instruction content which a teacher writes on the replayed learning image (or writing data); synchronizing the marked writing content image (or writing data) of the teacher with the learning image (or writing data) of the corresponding student; storing an image (or writing data) in which the synchronized learning image (or writing data) of the corresponding student and the writing content image (or writing data) of the teacher are combined in a database (DB); and transmitting the image (or writing data) which is stored in the database to the student terminal in case of a user request. By the forementioned, each of students has an effect of receiving a personal instruction directly and immediately from a teacher.
