PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharp cutter wheel manufacturable without generating irregularities caused by fallout of diamond particles on the surface of an acute-angled blade edge or a narrow protrusive blade edge, while using a diamond sintered body as a raw material, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: Such a constitution is adopted that a blade edge 3 having a more acute blade edge angle or a narrow protrusive blade edge 4 is formed by wire-cut electric discharge machining or engraving electric discharge machining on the outer peripheral surface of a discoid disk body 2 comprising a diamond sintered body including conductive diamond particles.
