PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing the occurrence of vertical crosstalk without increasing manufacturing costs and reducing numerical aperture.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: an array substrate including a signal line S, a pixel electrode and a thin film transistor having a semiconductor layer; a counter substrate including a common electrode; a liquid crystal layer; and a signal line driving circuit performing HV inversion driving. The signal line driving circuit applies, to the signal line S, a precharge signal having a voltage level different from a voltage value intermediate between a video signal with positive polarity and a video signal with negative polarity, for each one horizontal scan period and before applying a video signal to the signal line S. |
