PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet separation transport device capable of preventing a paper sheet from scraping off without requiring any control in an image forming device for performing electro-static attraction belt paper feed.SOLUTION: A joint X of an endless belt 2 to be wound on a roller is formed obliquely with respect to the transportation direction of a sheet material. The joint X of a non-adsorption area is not concentrated on the transportation direction tip side of the sheet material so that the adsorbed sheet material becomes hard to slip off. Moreover, no steep step exists between the joint X and its peripheral portion so that the vibration or impact can be reduced. The adhesion area can be made larger than that of the case of a linear adhesion so that the strength of the adhesion at the portion of the joint X can be improved. As compared with a seamless type having a cost-up so as to avoid the presence of the non-adsorption area due to the joint X, the cost can be decreased by forming the belts with the joint if there is no peel of the adsorbed sheet material even with the non-absorptive region. |
