摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption optimization system and a power provision control method which allows a power storage device to properly store power.SOLUTION: A power consumption optimization system includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring operation information, when a train is operated, including train power consumption that is power consumed during the operation of the train from an operation management system managing the operation of the train; a power management memory unit for memorizing history of provided power including the train power consumption by each train and each power storage device; an operation result memory unit for memorizing history of, in each train, operation result information in which the operation information and a result of charging/discharging by the power storage device are correlated; and a consumption prediction unit for predicting a future peak time zone of the provision power in the power storage device, instructing the power storage device to discharge in the peak time zone, and instructing the power storage device to charge in a time zone except for the peak time zone, based on current provision power, provided power in the past memorized in the power management memory unit, current operation information of the train, and the operation result information memorized in the operation result memory unit.
