PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of properly suppressing a shock for a vehicle upon the switching from a driving state to a driven state of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine which executes fuel cut includes: a transmission; and an EG-ECU which attenuates an output torque of the engine while dividing an attenuation period into a first attenuation period T1, a second attenuation period T2 and a third attenuation period T3 and, at the same time, makes attenuation ratios &Dgr;TQ1, &Dgr;TQ3 of the output torque of the engine when at least two conditions of a first condition (air-conditioner operation state), a second condition (cold time) and a third condition (high gear ratio time) hold smaller than the case when at least two conditions of the first to the third conditions do not hold. |
