PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool capable of using various battery packs with different battery voltages.SOLUTION: When a battery pack to output a voltage different from a rated voltage of a motor of an electric power tool is connected to the electric power tool and used, waveform conversion of a battery voltage applied to the motor from the battery pack is performed in order to prevent the motor or an FET for controlling a current flowing in the motor from exceeding an allowable loss value thereof due to a current value carried in the motor, and an effective voltage applied to the motor is properly changed. An electric power tool is configured as above. |
