PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of making a sheet advance into an inverting roller pair without mutually separating the inverting roller pair.SOLUTION: This device includes a recording part 24 for performing image recording on recording paper conveyed on a first conveyance path 65 in a conveyance direction 15, and an inverting roller pair 43 for holding the recording paper to convey the recording paper in the conveyance direction 15 or in a direction directed to a second conveyance path 67. The first conveyance path 65 is sectioned by a first upper guide member 28 and a first lower guide member 29 between the recording part 24 and the inverting roller pair 43. The second conveyance path 67 is sectioned by a second upper guide member 31 and a second lower guide member 32. The angle of an inclination angle &thetas;1 of a first top surface 33 of the second lower guide member 32 to the top surface 30 of the first lower guide member 29 is smaller than the angle of an inclination angle &thetas;2 of a second top surface 35 of the second lower guide member 32 to the top surface 30 of the first lower guide member 29. |
